Chet Thaker, Chief Telecom/Utilities Audit Software

Chet’s 30+ years experience in Telecom and Utilities include the founder of TeleBright and ManageRightÒ, a specialized SaaS platform, to manage telecom and utilities infrastructure and process suppliers’ invoices. This platform can also handle other expense categories such as utilities. TeleBright also performs telecom inventory audits, contract reviews, optimization services, and strategic planning services for technology transitions for government and commercial clients.

Chet’s early interests were an Account Management software for regional Bell operating companies such as Pacific Bell, NYNEX and Bell Atlantic. Chet then led the company to develop and deliver a pricing and network design software system related to advanced voice and data network services for BellSouth (now AT&T). Current professional interests include implementation of Robotic Process Automation tools across labor intensive processes in business and government sectors.

Chet taught two telecom courses at University of California, Irvine Engineering Extension in 1990s. He also authored a book Negotiating Telecommunications Contracts, published by The Telecom Library Inc., New York. Chet currently serves on the Board of Trustees of William & Mary Foundation, Williamsburg, VA.
